Continuing to Support our Community
At Niño Early Learning Adventures, the health, safety and wellbeing of our children, families, community and employees is at the heart of what we do.
With the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) impacting our communities, the Australian Government Health Department and Department of Education have advised the running of early childhood services are essential to families. Following the Government’s recommendation, we will continue to operate and support the community.
Niño ELA remains committed to providing ongoing care for you and your children with our centres remaining open as per the centre’s opening hours. Providing care during these challenging times, and one where support is required more than ever for many families, remains our utmost priority.
Practising Good Hygiene
Niño ELA ensures appropriate hygiene measures remain in practice across all Niño ELA services. The recent outbreak has ensured we strengthen these practices, placing a focus on already stringent cleaning processes, a heightened focus on sanitisation, as well as regular communication and updates on practising good personal hygiene.
- the use of sanitisation units which are installed throughout all our centres for all families and visitors to use.
- encouraging our niños to practice good personal hygiene routines, including washing their hands frequently with soap and water, before and after eating, and after going to the toilet, and covering their mouths when coughing or sneezing;
- the placement of Australian Government-issued information posters, which provide crucial information on how to ‘stop the spread of COVID-19’, in our centres.
- regular updates to our families via FlexiBuzz of any Australian Government of Health and Department of Education and Training
We continue to work closely with our staff to ensure that we are all doing our part in helping to keep our environments clean and are keeping everyone up to date with new information and advice from the relevant Government health authorities.
We will continue to closely and carefully monitor the advice of the Australian Government Department of Health and Department of Education and Training in relation to the Coronavirus and act in accordance with their advice. As the situation is ever evolving, we will continue to communicate any changes that may affect the day to day operations of our services with you.
