To support this, we provide:

  • Opportunities for parent information sessions and workshops at various centres to focus on how we keep children safe every day
  • Visual guides and safety information displayed across our centres to promote transparency
  • Videos and communications that demonstrate safe practices and active supervision
  • Updates on evolving child safety practices and expectations across the early learning sector

We encourage open conversations with families and welcome feedback as part of our commitment to continuous improvement.

At an organisational level, Niño Early Learning Adventures maintains a structured and proactive approach to child safety.

This includes:

  • Maintaining comprehensive Child Safe Environment & Wellbeing policies and related procedures
  • Ensuring all staff understand and comply with Code of Conduct and behavioural expectations
  • Embedding child safety into the recruitment, onboarding and induction processes
  • Regularly reviewing and updating policies to reflect new legislation and sector reforms
  • Communicating clearly with families and teams about expectations, responsibilities and updates

In our centres, child safety is part of everyday practice.

Our educators:

  • Maintain active supervision at all times, with a minimum of two educators present in each learning environment
  • Follow clear policies regarding safe use of digital devices and professional conduct
  • Create environments where children feel safe, secure and supported
  • Use visual cues and resources throughout the centre to reinforce safe behaviours
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to child safety

We work as a team to ensure consistency, vigilance and a shared understanding of our responsibilities.

Empowering children is a key part of our safety approach.
