Creating happy, thriving children

At Niño ELA, we are dedicated to delivering every child an inspiring learning experience where they can flourish.
Central to our education curriculum is our Positive Education framework. We focus on the specific skills that help children strengthen their relationships, build positive emotions, enhance resilience, promote mindfulness and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
Delivered in a developmentally appropriate way, we encourage the development of these valuable life skills in everyday experiences.

What is Positive Education?

Positive Education brings together the science of Positive Psychology with best practice teaching to encourage and support education services and communities to flourish.
Positive Education focus on the whole child by teaching both skills of wellbeing and achievement. It has a significant impact on raising resilience, in addition to providing support and skills for children to release stress, anxiety, and regulate emotions whilst determining self-measures to support themselves and others.
A sense of positive wellbeing enhances learning, the traditional goal of education. A positive mood produces broader attention, more creative thinking and more ability to problem solve for positive outcomes. Complementing the outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework of Australia, Positive Education empowers children to develop –
Positive Relationships
Positive Emotions
Positive Health
Value Engagement
Value Accomplishment
